Have owned a Westendorf XTA 700 for quite a few years now and it seems to work all right. It's bigger than recommended for my tractor (165 hp, mfwd ) but after looking at typical loader probelms the neighbors had with theirs which was basically them asking too much out of the loader, I figured I may as well spend the extra money up front. That said, it does bounce around like another poster said but the attachments are thoughtful and I really like the bale spear. Got the brush crusher attachment which was a waste of money, not easy to use and the bucket with grapple works a lot better anyway. Dad's used the loader for quite a bit of dirt work which is hard on loaders and it's held up so far. Is it the best loader out there? Probably not but it's good. An important note is that their customer service sucks. Just try to get any money out of them when they owe it to you. On two occasions something wasn't right and instead of just giving the money back they would only offer a coupon or something that was only good toward another Westendorf purchase. The product is okay but I'll never buy from them again.Westendorf was the first and original inventor of the auick-attach bucket system back in the early 70's... we patented and still use the SAME universal style of quick-attach. Everything we've created over the past 40 years will retro-fit, even the oldest WL-30 and 40 models still on the market. It is so much easier to see when hooking it up and it is self-aligning. Even after years of use the Westendorf style will be tight due to it's self-aligning V-shape, unlike the other flat styles of quick-attach would have worn out.

A quick tip: When performing your maintenance on your loader, in the colder winter months, dump a little antifreeze down into the adapter to keep the pins from freezing up... The other option is to consider the new Remote Control Coupler - this is an all hydraulic quick attach system and uses the power of hydraulics to both raise and lower the pins - so it will also eliminates getting out in the winter in the cold weather.

As with any task, selecting the right tool for the job, is the key to a productive and efficient end result. If your task was to build a house, would you go buy a bag of nails and hammer, or would you purchase a commercial grade air nailer? This also allows for a self-aligning mounting system that eliminates the need for pounding in pins or making sure you dismount the loader on a slab of concrete. It is the fastest and easiest loader to dismount in the industry.
