Safety tips: When installing and debugging pump 70, it is necessary to jog to confirm the correct direction of operation to avoid unnecessary malfunctions.

1. Understand the structure of vacuum pumps

Please familiarize yourself with the internal and external structure of the vacuum pump according to the picture when repairing and maintaining the pump.

2.1 Accessories need to be checked and replaced

The accessories that need maintenance, inspection, and replacement for vacuum pumps that have been in use for more than one year include bearings, high rotor plates, high valve plates, high and low valve seats, and all sealing rings on the vacuum pump.

2.2 Pump oil should be replaced regularly

Vacuum pumps require regular replacement of vacuum pump oil. For those with high levels of pollutants, the oil usually needs to be replaced within 15 days. If the oil lubrication is not sufficient after a long period of time, it will affect the service life and have a significant negative effect. When replacing vacuum oil, it is necessary to heat up the vacuum pump. The cooling machine can be turned on for 20 minutes before changing the oil; When changing the oil inside the pump body, turn the vacuum pump 3-5 times to remove the dirt and oil from the chamber. Generally, about 5.5 liters of new oil should be replaced at a time.

2.3 Proper use of cooling water

The vacuum pump must have cooling water (water temperature around 5-25 degrees) when in use. When the temperature is below zero, the cooling water inside the pump body should be drained when stopping to avoid freezing and cracking the pump body.

3. Maintenance precautions

3.1 The common problem with using a vacuum pump on a laminating machine is the contamination of vacuum oil, which increases the friction and rotational assistance of the components inside the chamber. This is usually caused by residual substances such as EVA entering the vacuum pump. When a malfunction occurs, please check and clean the dirt inside the pump chamber in a timely manner.

3.2 When using a new pump, the exhaust port needs to be checked and cleaned of dirt after 3-5 months, and the low chamber also needs to be checked and cleaned of dirt after more than 3 months. Especially when there is abnormal noise, it is necessary to check the low rotation and clean the dirt and polish the smooth parts before installation and use to avoid unnecessary losses.

3.3 When the low valve plate and low baffle break, the pump sound suddenly increases and the vacuum pump oil keeps rolling. At this time, it is necessary to open the vacuum pump chamber and replace the new parts.

3.4 After using the vacuum pump for a period of time, it is necessary to check the wear and tightness of the belt, check whether the fastening screws on the large and small pulleys are loose, and adjust them in a timely manner. When using the pump for more than 6 months, it is necessary to check the bearing usage during maintenance and upkeep. Bearings that have been used for over a year need to be replaced with new ones.

3.5 When installing the front cover oil seal seat, special attention should be paid to the fact that when the bearing enters the main shaft, the oil seal should also enter at the same time. When installing, pay attention to details (if possible, stand the pump upright so that the relative position and visibility are better and easier to install).

3.6 When pulling out the low rotor, a professional Lamar should be used to check whether the low rotor plate is worn, clean the internal pollutants of the low rotor, and polish it smooth before installation and use.

3.7 If the situation shown in the picture occurs with the low rotation plate (the pump makes a "click" sound during operation, which is likely to cause the cracking fault shown in the picture), special attention should be paid and the problem should be checked and solved in a timely manner to avoid the vacuum pump getting stuck and causing losses.

3.8 Pay attention to whether the sealing ring is installed properly during installation and disassembly; When installing the high rotor, the bearing hole must be pushed in place, and then the front cover plate should be installed and placed into the main shaft. The positioning pin should be installed in a timely manner and aligned with the bolt. Slowly enter the main shaft and pay attention to the oil seal. At the same time, enter the installation in place, and finally tighten the screws.

3.9 When using a vacuum pump, if the temperature of the cooling water and vacuum pump oil is too high, it will cause an increase in pollutants, affecting oil lubrication and exhaust port pollution, resulting in problems such as poor exhaust, and causing the oil mirror window to burst. Special attention should be paid.
